Congress budget balancing simulation
We had a 1 hour allotment of time, with four 15 minute blocks to discuss 35 budget items.
I realized how each congressmen has district specific demographics to consider for the appropriation of funding to meet the needs of constituents. It would be hard to strike a deal to satisfy the needs of everyone. I also realized how there was not adequate time to talk in depth and reach a compromise for the action items. Hats off to legislatures who pass a budget, it is a lot more difficult that I realized.
